7th International Conference on Climate Change, 21-23 Mai 2012 in Chicago

Vom 21.-23. Mai 2012 findet in Chicago die 7. Internationale Konferenz über den Klimawandel statt. Die Konferenz gibt auch Themen eine Bühne, die vom IPCC bislang zuwenig Beachtung erhalten haben. Ausrichter ist das Heartland Institut. Am Eröffnungstag wird der tschechische Präsident Vaclav Klaus sprechen (Foto). Ebenfalls teilnehmen werden einige der NASA Wissenschaftler und Astronauten, die kürzlich in einem offenen Brief die NASA-Führung zu einer ausgewogeneren Darstellung des Klimawandel-Themas in der Öffentlichkeit aufriefen.

Major event taking place in Chicago immediately following the NATO Summit

The Heartland Institute today announced Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, will be the first dinner speaker at the Seventh International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC-7), taking place in Chicago on May 21–23. President Klaus, who holds a Ph.D. in economics and is the author of a book on climate change titled Blue Planet in Green Shackles, has been a vocal critic of climate change alarmism.

This year’s theme is “Real Science, Real Choices.” We hope to organize some 30 panel discussions, each featuring a moderator and two experts debating a particular issue or aspect of the climate change debate.
